Geoboard Activity

We recently introduced a new fine-motor activity to the preschoolers: geoboards — a board with small pegs where children stretch elastics across the pegs to create patterns and designs.

The children spent time examining the board and elastics, talking about stretchiness, colour and size — some elastics were small and thin, some big and thick, and some stretchier than others.

It was a fun way to be creative while strengthening hand-eye coordination and precision. We’re excited to keep this activity in our classroom!
